Save state questions - It still keeps the save, even if you use the save frogs. At least mine did.You save in the game with frogs and if you use save state i suggest you dont if you want to skiped to intro of the title screen which is only 5 sec and 1 sec if you fast forward with the space bar.

Step 1 You need a copy of the ROM before patching. You’re on your own for this step.
Step 2 Open the MOTHER 3 Fan Translation zip file. Inside you’ll find “patcher” programs for Windows, Mac, and Linux computers. Use the patcher to apply the translation to your MOTHER 3 ROM. Problems? Click here.
Step 3 Ta-da! Your ROM is now in magical, sexy English. All you have to do is open it with a Game Boy Advance

The Backstory
Mother 3 is the sequel to EarthBound (an epic Super Nintendo RPG released in 1995) which was in development for 12 years before it was released in Japan in April 2006.
It soon became clear that Nintendo of America was uninterested in localizing the game, so in November 2006 the fans took matters into their own hands with the Do it Yourself Devotion project.
For two years a team of translators and hackers worked to produce an in-depth, professional translation and localization of MOTHER 3. In August 2007 the team began blogging about their progress, attracting the attention of the gaming industry, media, and more than half a million unique visitors.
On October 17, 2008, version 1.0 of the fan translation was released. It was downloaded well over 100,000 times in the months which followed. On July 19, 2009, version 1.1 was released, containing typo/grammar corrections and a series of bug fixes.

Mother 3 a weird name for a very strange game with plot twists and rising action and falling action many to which has been torn apart.
The game starts out as a loving boy who is resemble as a cry baby LUCAS(From super smash bros brawl)He wakes up in a peaceful day on the mountains and is woken up by his bro CLAUS,who is play fighting the Dragos.They all have a happy time eating there food,with there beloved mother HINAWA (a secret when your dress and you hair is fixed run dash into her chair and get a free nutbread to hold dash press X and let go this will let you fun with out holding anything)
As you travel back to the forest These pig mask guys come making the forest BURN and the animals ROBOTS
Familys get torn apart and the only one to save this town is Flint the father of Lucas...
I won't say more then that you will have to play it your self and get past chapter one

If this game really came out it would be rated teen,but it did not then ENGLISH nintendo would have a fit.

We enter Mother 3 World, The Nowhere Islands. Meet a few of our important characters, namely Lucas and Claus.
The B botton holds all power to ram into things!!!
Mother 3 is set in the Nowhere Islands, in an unknown time period. Chaos ensues after an invasion by the Pigmask Army, named after the uniforms, which resemble pigs, and its leader "King Porky" who came from a different timeline. They slowly construct a police state, while experimenting on the land's flora and fauna, and introducing new technology and infrastructure to the islands. The various chapters culminate in Lucas's quest to rid the Nowhere Islands of the Pigmask Army.
