Hey guys, Sam here. Im reviewing the highly anticipated disater movie, 2012.

the IMAX people really took advantage of the tremendous special effects in the movie. Earthquakes, VOLCANOES, floods, the ash cloud from yellowstone. It was all great.

MAJOR Spoiler Warning. Really, Sam.
John Cusack was the perfect man for the lead role, Jackson Curtis, a divorced limosine driver whos sold 427 copies of his book Farewell Atlantis. When he takes his kids to Yellowstone for a camping trip, he is informed that the whole area has become unstable. Meanwhile, Jacksons ex-wife and new boyfriend are terrorized in a giant earthquake in california. When they'rebrought back, Jackson is made aware that 2012 is the year that the planets magnetic alignment trigger a solar eruption powerful enough to melt the earth's core, allowing the poles and plates to shift freely around, causing cataclysmic disaster. Jackson rushes to his family's house and they barely escape California in a massive 10.9 earthquake. Gordon, Jackson's ex-wife's boyfriend is able to fly them out to yellowstone in search of the map that hippe Charlie Frost says he possesses. When they get there, the Caldera is just being pushed to the breaking point. 70 billion tons of molten rock, pummus and ash is thrown into the air setting new records for the largest explosion ever recorded and most violent eruption ever recorded in human history. Charlie frost, who decides to stay back and sit on the rim of the caldera as it blows, but is decimated by the falling land that was blow into the air. Jackson and his family just barely escape the giant ash cloud heated up to over 700 degrees centigrade and fly back to a broken Los angeles. Jackson's boss, Yuri Korane who is a multi billionaire, explains he has a plane they can fly to china with, where the giant arks are being built. They are unauthorized to fly in the ash cloud, but still carry the giant antonov across the pacific. They're plan of re-fueling in Hawaii was quickly smashed when the whole island in being attacked by lava flows coming from the many volcanoes. They were suspected to have to make a water landing, but the shifting of the earth's plates just below them takes the really close to where they wanted to go. They plan to touchdown in the himalayas, but they do not have enough time before they would barrel off a cliff. Sasha, the pilot instructs the clan to open the back gate and drive the betley out of the back before he touches down. after they drive the bentley out of the aircraft, it just barely makes it off the cliff. Sasha is still in the plane trying to control it. But it tips off the cliff, leaving sasha in the cockpit and sadly dies in the explosion.

I want to leave the rest for you to fid out next week at movie night. for we will be watching it! so get your copies now!

Try to not go into so much detail about the plot (WTF Spoylahs!), and be sure to discuss other parts of the film (audio, acting, etc.) and explain why you liked/disliked them.
THIS IZ SERIOUS BUSINESS, GUIZ.

No offense or anything, but a review is meant to tell people your opinion of a film. It isn't about telling people the entire story of a film. Just saying.
